Greetings to the few!  I've been thinking  for a while now that maybe I ought to drop a line on here for any who might be interested.  A little has changed since I've seen you guys.  I've been working for a couple of months now at an architecture firm just a few blocks from where I live in Chicago.  It's good, seeing as how I have yet to be subjected a tantrum where someone throws my work on the floor and stomps on it.  In fact, people in my new firm are very encouraging and they find tactful ways of telling me when I have made a mistake.  Not to mention the pay is a great deal better.

I'll also be moving shortly, though not far.  I'm moving from an apartment on the third floor of my building to an apartment on the second floor of my building.  The apartment is about twice the size of the one I live in now.  I will have a bedroom with a door as well as a ceiling high enough that I can stand up straight.  That is to be offset by the fact that I will have twice as many roommates, who are considerably less mature and considerably louder than the roommates I now have, but I think that the aforementioned benefits more than outweigh the detriments, at least for me.  

So, things are looking up.  It was getting a little dire there for a bit--I was beginning to be haunted by images of my mom's basement.  But I kept the faith and the bills have crested and begun to recede.
